How do I use foam wrap rolls correctly?

Cut a length generously larger than the item, wrap it around at least once with the edges overlapping, and secure with tape on the foam rather than the item itself. For fragile pieces such as glassware or electronics, wrap each item individually and add a second layer over corners and protruding parts.

Are foam wrap rolls better than bubble wrap?

Each has its place: foam wrap is thinner, non-abrasive and will not pop or lose protection under pressure, making it kinder to delicate or polished surfaces and reusable many times. Bubble wrap gives more bulk cushioning per layer. Many packers use foam wrap directly against the item and bubble wrap or foam sheets around it for heavier protection.
